One day you wake up and you’re feeling down, and don't like what you see in the mirror. You think, that's it, I need a new look. STOP! Before going any further, let me share with you why you should take a step back a think this though. It could save you from 6 to 8 weeks of questioning your look.
Clients that are in that dreaded, “I hate my look,” mood are never happy when a hairstylist is done. They don't know what they want and the stylist is trying hard to make them feel better. There are times when I need to say, “I think we should wait until you’re ready or feeling better.”
You should be excited to come get your haircut, not upset or “over it.” So, we’ve come up with some suggestions for what to do during those bad days:
Your stylist has been doing this and knows what they are doing. If you need to start off small and work your way to something more drastic, let them know. If they suggest something that you’re not too find about, tell them. They’re there to make sure you are looking your very best!
